[Visionary. Entrepreneur. Developer]

David Territo.

David Territo is an entrepreneur working across furniture, interiors, and real estate. He leads the furniture brands CasaVogue and Maison Territo, guided by proportion, material integrity, and restraint.

The Territo Heritage

David’s work begins with furniture. Raised in a family rooted in craftsmanship since 1972, his understanding of space starts at the human scale, how people sit, gather, and live.

Today, he leads two established furniture brands, CasaVogue and Maison Territo, each operating with a distinct identity but grounded in the same values of comfort, proportion, and longevity.

This foundation informs every space he later designs, renovates, and builds.

Expanding from Objects to Spaces

David’s renovation and real estate work evolved naturally from his foundation in furniture. By beginning at the human scale, proportion, use, and material, spaces feel resolved, intuitive, and lived in rather than staged.

Through Livoda Construction, David leads residential renovations and commercial developments, often involving full structural transformation and long-term repositioning. Each project reflects a measured approach to building, where craftsmanship, clarity, and longevity guide every decision.

An Integrated Practice

Rather than treating furniture, renovation, and development as separate disciplines, David operates them as one integrated practice. Each informs the other, creating consistency across brand, space, and execution.

This approach defines his role not only as a designer or developer, but as an entrepreneur building long-term value across multiple ventures.

Maison Territo Scented Candles

David Territo’s work extends beyond furniture and construction into objects that shape atmosphere and memory. The Maison Territo candle is one such expression.

Rooted in a family tradition of craftsmanship, each candle is produced by hand with the same discipline applied to furniture making. Materials are chosen for longevity, and the container is designed to remain long after the flame has faded.

It reflects how David approaches space itself, not as decoration, but as something to be lived in, where light, scent, and proportion quietly define the experience.

Behind the brands is a partnership defined by trust and a shared way of seeing the world. This collaboration serves as the cultural anchor for the entire group of companies, ensuring that every venture remains grounded in clarity and mutual vision.

Where It Began
Eleven years ago, on the streets of Montreal’s Old Port, a first date turned into a shared vision. A simple “Land for Sale” sign became the starting point of a journey shaped by design, real estate, and long-term thinking.
Complementary Strengths
Liv brings intuition, empathy, and perspective. David brings structure, discipline, and long-term focus. Together, they move with clarity.
Working as One
Their partnership extends naturally into business, where creativity and execution meet, shaping furniture, spaces, and investments.
A Shared Direction
Rooted in trust and gratitude, their work is guided by alignment, consistency, and a commitment to building things that last.

Hospitality design requires a different level of thinking.

You don’t design a hotel room the same way you design a home.

In a home, you design for one person.

In a hotel, you design for thousands.

Every guest is different.
Every night is someone’s first impression.

Lighting has to feel intuitive.
Materials have to be durable but luxurious.
Acoustics matter.
And sleep becomes everything.

The mattress in a hotel isn’t just furniture.
It’s reputation.

If someone sleeps well, they come back.
If they don’t, nothing else matters.

Lately, I’ve been thinking more about hospitality projects.

Boutique hotels.
Branded residences.
Yachts.

Designing not just for aesthetics but for experience.

It’s a different mindset and one that aligns naturally with how I approach every project.

And I believe it’s where luxury design is heading.

The real estate project I’m most proud of.

A multi unit build where the process was like designing a yacht, obsessing over every inch.

We paid close attention to the lighting, textures and colors because when those aren’t properly thought out, a space feels small. When they are, it feels comfortable to live in.

So we built the furniture to fit the space, not the other way around.

If everyone understands your brand, it’s probably too obvious.

Most marketing today tries to explain everything.
What you do.
Why you do it.
How you’re different.

But the brands that last don’t explain much at all.
They let you feel it.

I’ve learned that the moments that convert the most aren’t the ones where we explain every detail.
They’re the ones where someone pauses, looks around, and says:
“I need to come back.”

Luxury, design, and trust aren’t meant to be understood in one visit.
They’re discovered over time, in conversation, and sometimes in silence.

If someone walks into a space and immediately “gets it,” chances are it was designed to be safe, not memorable.

A bit of restraint is intentional.
A bit of ambiguity is healthy.
Because desire needs space.

Not everyone needs to understand what you’re building.
The right people don’t need everything explained.

Mystery isn’t a lack of strategy.
It is the strategy.

Made in Italy was a great reminder of what makes our culture unique: design, craftsmanship, and soul.

It’s not just about products. It’s about the people behind them and the passion that drives them to do things properly, with pride and patience.

That’s what keeps Italian culture alive, and what continues to inspire us at Maison Territo.

Last night we had the pleasure of hosting an intimate private dinner with 30 of Montreal’s most talented designers and architects, celebrating over a century of Italian elegance with Fendi Casa.

At Maison Territo, our vision has always been to create more than a showroom. A space where design can be felt, shared, and experienced, surrounded by creativity, conversation, and timeless craftsmanship. The evening truly reflected that spirit.

A special thank you to Giacomo Rossi, VP of Fendi Casa Americas, for joining us and sharing the legacy of Fendi with our guests.
