Creativity often begins where limitations appear.

David Territo

Vision

Creativity is one of the core values that guides everything David Territo builds.

For David, creativity is not simply about unlimited freedom. In many cases, the most interesting ideas emerge when there are limitations.

Architecture, development, and design projects always involve constraints — regulations, structural realities, budgets, and technical challenges. Rather than seeing these as obstacles, David views them as opportunities to think differently.

Together with his wife Liv, David continues building projects that connect real estate, design, and global luxury brands.

The Territo Platform

Territo represents the platform through which David and Liv Territo connect real estate, furniture, design collaborations, and philanthropy.

Built on a family legacy in furniture craftsmanship, the platform brings together initiatives that share a common philosophy: creating spaces where architecture, materials, furniture, and atmosphere are considered as a complete experience. Rather than approaching projects from only one perspective, David works across multiple layers of the built environment — from development and spatial planning to the furniture and design elements that shape how a space is ultimately experienced.

A 360° Perspective on Properties

Most professionals specialize in only one aspect of a project — real estate, architecture, interior design, or furniture.

David Territo approaches properties differently. Because his work spans development, furniture, and design collaborations, he views projects from a broader perspective — from the structure of a building to the final elements that shape how a space is lived in.

This 360° understanding allows him to collaborate with architects, designers, and developers while helping translate creative ideas into complete environments.
This perspective also allows David to contribute to projects from early development stages through the final design and furnishing of the space.

Connecting Global Design Brands

Through Maison Territo, David works with leading international furniture houses, building relationships that bring global design expertise, curated collections, and collaborative opportunities into projects in Montreal and beyond.

Global Design Partnerships

David works with renowned luxury brands including Fendi Casa, Dolce & Gabbana Casa, Versace Home, and Bentley Home. These relationships go beyond collections, offering direct collaboration with international design teams. Access to these brands is typically limited to a select group of partners worldwide.

Access to International Design Teams

These partnerships provide access to global design teams, bringing their expertise directly into each project.

Maison Territo offers a rare environment where multiple luxury brands can be experienced together, allowing architects and clients to explore materials and collections in a more immersive way.

International Industry Connections

David regularly travels to meet manufacturers, discover new collections, and build relationships with brands and artisans. This global network keeps projects connected to evolving design perspectives and unique sourcing opportunities.

Supporting Projects of Different Scales

Through Casa Vogue and Maison Territo, David supports projects across a wide range of scales — from highly curated interiors to larger developments. This flexibility allows architects and developers to work with a single partner for sourcing and design integration.

Collaborating with Architects & Designers

David Territo regularly collaborates with architects and interior designers who are looking to elevate their projects through strong furniture integration and access to international design brands.

Because his work spans real estate development, interiors, and furniture, he approaches projects with a broader understanding of how spaces are conceived, built, and ultimately experienced.

Rather than replacing the role of architects or designers, David works alongside them to translate architectural concepts into complete living environments by connecting projects with furniture collections, materials, and global design resources.

Because of his relationships with international furniture houses and design teams, David can often help architects and designers access collections, materials, and expertise that would otherwise be difficult to obtain.

Built Environments & High-End Interiors

A curated selection of residential and design-focused projects where architecture, materials, and thoughtful planning shape the experience of living. These works reflect David’s ability to move from pursuing “impossible” ideas to creating highly optimized residential and commercial concepts.

What Sets Him Apart

Real estate, design, and furniture are often treated as separate disciplines.
David Territo approaches them as parts of the same creative process. By connecting development, architecture, interiors, and global design brands, his goal is to create environments where every element works together — from the structure of a building to the final atmosphere of a space.

Maison Territo Scented Candles

David Territo’s work extends beyond furniture and construction into objects that shape atmosphere and memory. The Maison Territo candle is one such expression.

Rooted in a family tradition of craftsmanship, each candle is produced by hand with the same discipline applied to furniture making. Materials are chosen for longevity, and the container is designed to remain long after the flame has faded.

It reflects how David approaches space itself, not as decoration, but as something to be lived in, where light, scent, and proportion quietly define the experience.

David & Liv

David Territo grew up surrounded by furniture craftsmanship through his family’s business, Casa Vogue. From an early age he developed an appreciation for materials, design, and the importance of creating spaces that people truly enjoy living in.

Over time, his interests expanded beyond furniture into real estate and development, leading him to approach properties from a broader perspective that connects architecture, interiors, and the final living experience.

Together with his wife Liv Territo, they continue building projects that combine these disciplines while growing the Territo platform.
On the streets of Montreal’s Old Port in 2012, a first date turned into a shared vision. A simple “Land for Sale” sign became the starting point of a journey shaped by design, real estate, and long-term thinking.
Liv brings intuition, empathy, and perspective. David brings structure, discipline, and long-term focus. Together, they move with clarity.
Their partnership extends naturally into business, where creativity and execution meet, shaping furniture, spaces, and investments.
Rooted in trust and gratitude, their work is guided by alignment, consistency, and a commitment to building things that last.

This one means a lot.

It started in the back of a workshop. That’s where our family story began.

I grew up around it, paying attention to how things were built and what actually made them last.

Over time, the vision grew bigger and bolder.

Grateful to be featured in Lost & Found Canada.

“Your home is a reflection of yourself. When you walk into someone’s home, you understand the people behind it almost instantly — the same way you do in the first ten seconds of meeting someone. Great design acts like a mirror because it shows you who someone is at their core. That is when furniture becomes part of your identity.”

Hospitality design requires a different level of thinking.

You don’t design a hotel room the same way you design a home.

In a home, you design for one person.

In a hotel, you design for thousands.

Every guest is different.
Every night is someone’s first impression.

Lighting has to feel intuitive.
Materials have to be durable but luxurious.
Acoustics matter.
And sleep becomes everything.

The mattress in a hotel isn’t just furniture.
It’s reputation.

If someone sleeps well, they come back.
If they don’t, nothing else matters.

Lately, I’ve been thinking more about hospitality projects.

Boutique hotels.
Branded residences.
Yachts.

Designing not just for aesthetics but for experience.

It’s a different mindset and one that aligns naturally with how I approach every project.

And I believe it’s where luxury design is heading.

The real estate project I’m most proud of.

A multi unit build where the process was like designing a yacht, obsessing over every inch.

We paid close attention to the lighting, textures and colors because when those aren’t properly thought out, a space feels small. When they are, it feels comfortable to live in.

So we built the furniture to fit the space, not the other way around.

If everyone understands your brand, it’s probably too obvious.

Most marketing today tries to explain everything.
What you do.
Why you do it.
How you’re different.

But the brands that last don’t explain much at all.
They let you feel it.

I’ve learned that the moments that convert the most aren’t the ones where we explain every detail.
They’re the ones where someone pauses, looks around, and says:
“I need to come back.”

Luxury, design, and trust aren’t meant to be understood in one visit.
They’re discovered over time, in conversation, and sometimes in silence.

If someone walks into a space and immediately “gets it,” chances are it was designed to be safe, not memorable.

A bit of restraint is intentional.
A bit of ambiguity is healthy.
Because desire needs space.

Not everyone needs to understand what you’re building.
The right people don’t need everything explained.

Mystery isn’t a lack of strategy.
It is the strategy.

Made in Italy was a great reminder of what makes our culture unique: design, craftsmanship, and soul.

It’s not just about products. It’s about the people behind them and the passion that drives them to do things properly, with pride and patience.

That’s what keeps Italian culture alive, and what continues to inspire us at Maison Territo.

Last night we had the pleasure of hosting an intimate private dinner with 30 of Montreal’s most talented designers and architects, celebrating over a century of Italian elegance with Fendi Casa.

At Maison Territo, our vision has always been to create more than a showroom. A space where design can be felt, shared, and experienced, surrounded by creativity, conversation, and timeless craftsmanship. The evening truly reflected that spirit.

A special thank you to Giacomo Rossi, VP of Fendi Casa Americas, for joining us and sharing the legacy of Fendi with our guests.
