I’ve found that saying yes can be incredibly powerful, even when it’s a leap of faith. Sometimes, I’ve said yes just to keep the door open—like agreeing to sell a product we didn’t have yet or opening a store we hadn’t planned on.

One memorable example was saying yes to attending an expensive gala at the famous $200 million penthouse at Central Park Towers in New York. The initial cost was steep, but the connections and opportunities that followed far outweighed the investment.

Would you join me for a late-night dinner, even after working all day without any sleep? Yes.

Would you like to invest in a project you can’t really afford? Sure.

Interested in a last-minute trip to Vegas? Let’s do it.

Saying yes has allowed ideas to evolve and opportunities to take shape in ways I couldn’t have predicted.

What about you? Have you ever embraced an opportunity just to see where it might lead? Maybe next time, don’t think—just say yes.
